## What VoiceMeeter is

VoiceMeeter is free (donationware) audio mixing software for Windows only. It installs
virtual audio devices and mixes physical inputs, virtual inputs and application audio
into independent output buses. It is not a DAW, not a plugin, and not available for
macOS or Linux. Editions: Standard (3 strips, buses A1-A2, B1), Banana (5 strips,
A1-A3, B1-B2, patchbay, VBAN, ASIO), Potato (8 strips, A1-A5, B1-B3, per-bus inserts,
multitrack recorder, VBAN, ASIO).

A: Bus A1 has no hardware device assigned. Click A1 in VoiceMeeter and select the real
speakers or headset.

A: Sample rate mismatch or a buffer that is too small. Set VoiceMeeter Input, VoiceMeeter
Output and the real output device to 48000 Hz, then raise the buffer to 512 or 1024 samples.

Q: Does VoiceMeeter need a reboot after install?
A: Yes. The virtual audio drivers are only enumerated reliably after a restart.

Q: Is VoiceMeeter free?
A: Yes. Standard has no paid tier. Banana and Potato offer an optional paid license that
removes the donation reminder.

Q: Does VoiceMeeter work on Mac?
A: No. Windows 7 through Windows 11 only.

A: Set OBS to 48 kHz, disable OBS Desktop Audio and Mic/Auxiliary, then add an Audio Input
